North River Sing’s Annual Winter Concert
Inspired by Jazz and Broadway, and “devoted to the Great American songbook,” the North River Sing Community Chorus will be performing their Annual Winter Concert this Sunday afternoon. Attendees must wear masks and show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination.

The Heights Branch Library will be hosting a dragon-making craft event this Friday afternoon in celebration of the Lunar New Year.
Speranza Panel Discussion for Racial Day Of Healing
Speranza Theatre Company will be hosting this event “on the need to tackle racial inequality and representation for artists on stage and film” as part of the National Day of Racial Healing earlier this week. Registration is required for in-person attendees.
Mission Control at 902 Brewing Co.
Mission Control, “a New Jersey based Alternative Dance-Fusion band,” will be performing at 902 Brewing Co. this Friday night.
Origami Map Flowers Workshop at Liberty State Park
The Liberty State Park Nature Center will be hosting this workshop on Saturday morning where attendees will “learn how to re-purpose used items into unique crafts.” This event is not recommended for children under seven years of age. Attendees must register in advance.
Lunar New Year Celebration
Celebrate the Chinese New Year this Saturday morning with the Jersey City Free Public Library and Fong’s Hung Ga Kung Fu Association. This outdoor event will also include a grab-and-go craft.
