REAPER is anything but a stranger to the remix circuit, and he’s back yet again to tackle a release from some of dance music’s biggest names. And it’s for none other than Said The Sky, William Black and SayWeCanFly‘s “On My Own,” who call on the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch alumni for a high-energy, drum ‘n’ bass undertaking of their Lowly.-backed original.

REAPER’s unexpected spin follows a long line of notable reworks in 2022 following his debut LP DISRUPTOR, including ones for David Guetta, Zomboy, Gryffin and Blanke, and his album’s own remix edition. Fittingly touted by Said The Sky as “actually NUTS,” REAPER’s “On My Own” version moves the original from melodic bass over to his signature production style, with organic percussion in its buildup giving way to a drop that captures his heavy-hitting stylistic tagline of being a “portal to the new era” of drum ‘n’ bass. Stream his rework of the trio’s “On My Own” via Lowly. below.
