Following a hugely successful first edition in May 2022, classic dance music festivalOne More Time will make its comeback on bank holiday Sunday 30th April at Stewart Park in Middlesbrough with an ever bigger line up.

The festival announced its incredible line up back in October which consists of 26 acts across 4 arenas including some of the biggest pioneers of the clubbing scene – Fatman Scoop, D:Ream, N Trance, Phats & Small, Baby D, Livin’ Joy ft Luzahnn, K-Klass, Kathy Brown, Juliet Roberts and more. They will be performing across four themed stages: Retro, 90s Baby and new for 2023, Trance Classics and Hedkandi (VIP).

Today, organisers have revealed two more legendary acts that have been added to the 2023 billing and will make their festival debut: Basshunter and 2 Unlimited.

Basshunter, famous for his hit single Now You’re Gone, joins the Trance Classics stage. Now You’re Gone took the UK by storm in 2008, maintaining the top spot in the UK Singles Chart for five weeks. Back in the early 2000s, the Swedish singer, record producer and DJ won a host of awards including a European Border Breakers Award (2008) and a Grammy award for Best Ringtone of the Year (2006). He was also nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award as well as a BT Digital Music Award. In a survey carried out by the festival which asked 2022 attendees for their feedback, Basshunter was named as one of their top ‘guilty pleasures’ that they’d love to see at One More Time in the future – so this is bound to be music to their ears!

Belgian dance music duo 2 Unlimited will take to the 90s Baby stage, giving festival goers the chance to relive their youth and some of the pair’s most iconic tracks from 1991-1996 including Get Ready for This, Twilight Zone and Tribal Dance which became a top five hit in Austria, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. By 1996, 2 Unlimited had fourteen consecutive singles that went into the top ten rankings internationally. Their most memorable hit, No Limit, was their most successful single, reaching number one in 35 countries. The song currently has over 80 million streams on Spotify – proving it is still popular to this day.

Described as ‘the perfect throwback which brings back so many memories’ by fans who attended the 2022 edition, One More Time 2023 will be hard to beat for those craving a trip back to their favourite era.

Third release tickets are available now for £30. VIP tickets are £50 and include posh loos, a chill-out area, premium bar, VIP viewing area, fast track queues and commemorative memorabilia. Ticket holders can also upgrade to VIP for £20.
