MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A Montgomery highschool pupil is inspiring her group after being chosen to carry out in one of the historic music halls on the planet.
“I began enjoying the guitar in second grade at Carver Elementary,” stated younger musician Kaylen Miles.
Kaylen Miles, an eleventh grader at Booker T. Washington Magnet Excessive Faculty, says music has at all times come simple to her.
“When she was in kindergarten, she was at all times buzzing round the home, type of banging on issues, simply experimenting,” stated Bobby Miles, Kaylen’s father.
It wasn’t till she started enjoying the bass clarinet when she could be seen by one in every of her band lecturers.

Miles auditioned in opposition to 10,000 different candidates from everywhere in the world.
She was chosen to carry out at Carnegie Corridor in New York Metropolis, a chance Miles didn’t assume she would get.

Kaylen’s father has been impressed by her daughter and says his youngsters make her a greater individual day by day.
