Freekbass to Make Annual Pilgrimage to Florida for New Year’s Run
Every December, like clockwork, Freekbass & the Bump Assembly make their annual trek to Florida to see their many Sunshine State fans and to escape the Cincinnati weather for at least a short while. For this run, in addition to his Bump Assembly companions Sky White, piano, keyboards; Rico Lewis, drums; and Reilley Commistar, vocals, Miss Sammi Garett of Cool Cool Cool (and formerly of Turkuaz) a frequent collaborator with Freekbass, will be along to add her amazing voice to the funk-filled proceedings.
They begin Friday, December 30, with a show at the beautiful Rum 138 in Ft. White up in springs country. They will once again ring in the new year at Dunedin Brewery (Freekbass will start the night with a set of solo grooves!) And they will close out this campaign with a three-night run to The Green Parrot in Key West.
