The stunning Brighton home on Seacombe Grove is on the market right now.
The ultimate man cave, home theatre and recording studio, found in an actual cave that wouldn’t look out of place in Movie World, is gearing up to rock buyers’ worlds on Brighton’s prestigious Golden Mile.
In the basement of a two-storey house at 6 Seacombe Grove, an underground cave hidden by retractable vault doors is complete with soundproof rock walls, a full home cinema system, kitchenette and room for up to eight moviegoers.
JP Dixon Real Estate Brighton boss Jonathan Dixon is leading the sale of the glamorous four-bedroom home, which has an $8.64m-$9.5m asking price.

There’s also a solar heated swimming pool and spa.
“I think they just like caves,” Mr Dixon said of the vendors, who upgraded the basement cave since purchasing the pad in 2015 for $6.1m, according to CoreLogic records.
“They’re into music and things like that so it’s all acoustically designed, there’s about six or seven speakers around that area, plus guitars and other musical instruments.”
The underground space also joins a wine cellar, bar and six-car garage on the basement floor.
On the ground floor, high-end appointments include a spacious, open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, plus a butler’s pantry, all leading out onto an undercover outdoor entertaining terrace.
The garage has room for up to six cars.

Here, there’s a powder room and built-in Gaggenau barbecue kitchen overlooking the salt chlorinated, solar and gas heated swimming pool and spa.
Upstairs, the main bedroom comes with a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite, and opens onto an outdoor balcony where you can catch glimpses of the bay.
“It has everything you need in a modern home,” Mr Dixon said.
“There’s pretty heavy prices (in Brighton), this is probably one of the less expensive ones in that area. But it’s at the epicentre of the Golden Mile.”
