Free Week is a free music pageant that takes place throughout a dozen venues in downtown Austin’s Pink River Cultural District. Subsequent yr’s pageant will run Jan. 5-7. Venues taking part this yr shall be Cheer Up Charlies, Chess Membership, Elysium, Empire Management Room & Storage, Flamingo Cantina, Mala Vida, Mohawk, Stubb’s Bar-B-Q, Swan Dive, The thirteenth Flooring, Valhalla and Vaquero Taquero.

New this yr: A handful of eating places and bars close to the venues will provide up reductions and promotions throughout the pageant.
